We encourage all library supporters to contact your local legislators and ask them to:

• Oppose additional cuts to state aid and penal fines for libraries
• Help keep dedicated library funding safe from tax abatement programs such as DDAs and CIAs
• Support the reimbursement or Renaissance Zone tax credits to public libraries

Your advocacy can help preserve the health of the library and, we believe, the health of our economy as well.
