A Novel Experience is an exciting event that brings a bestselling author to our community for a memorable evening. The 2010 featured author is David Baldacci, the internationally-acclaimed author of 19 bestselling novels. Baldacci will speak on “Why Read?” with a book signing to follow (books will be available for sale at the event).
Purchase your tickets on this site or at any KDL branch or Schuler Books & Music location in Grand Rapids beginning September 1. Tickets are $15.
A special Author Reception will also be held at 5:30 p.m. the evening of the event at Watermark Country Club. A limited number of tickets will be available for $60, which includes admission to the public event. Purchase your tickets on this site or at any KDL branch beginning September 1.
Attendees of A Novel Experience are encouraged to participate in “Feeding Body & Mind” by donating new and gently used books at the event. The books will be distributed by Feeding America West Michigan Food Bank through their food pantries, thus helping feed the body and the mind.
Presented by the KDL Fund, proceeds from this event will be used to support the library's literacy programs for young children.
