WHAT WE SUPPORT


Kent District Library is a millage-supported system. Current millage levels sustain current programs and services; however, for KDL to grow and flourish to meet the needs of future generations, a new sustainable revenue source was established — the KDL Fund.

Donations to the Library help to fund programs and services that would not otherwise be possible. When you make a gift to KDL, you help ensure that the library will fulfill its mission for generations to come, and that it will remain a valuable asset in the community.


All gifts to the KDL Fund support the library's efforts in these targeted areas:

 

  • LITERACY FOR ALL AGES

Provide programs and resources to excite the imagination and celebrate reading.

  • PUBLIC LEARNING AND GATHERING SPACES

Provide safe, inviting, and comfortable library environments.

  • TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION

Provide equal access to the wealth of electronic information resources.

  • ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY

Provide resources to build literacy, job skills, and workforce readiness.
