WHAT WE SUPPORT

Kent District Library is a millage-supported system. The millage supports routine operations, but because our goal is excellence rather than maintenance, securing additional funding sources are essential.

Donations to the Library help to fund programs and services that would not otherwise be possible. When you make a gift to KDL you help ensure that the library will fulfill its mission for generations to come, and that it will remain a valuable asset in the community.

KDL strives to increase awareness of the value of reading and to promote literacy through special programs and other services to all ages. 

  • PUBLIC LEARNING AND GATHERING SPACES

KDL creates learning spaces and gathering places that meet the needs of our diverse community.

  • TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION

KDL offers programs and services designed to ensure Kent County residents equal access to the wealth of electronic information sources available. 

  • ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY

KDL provides resources to support workforce development by building literacy skills, job search skills, and workforce readiness.
