<p>The Friends support the library through fundraising events and outreach services to the larger community.&nbsp;</p> <p>Tthe Friends hold&nbsp;annual book sales and support the library by funding programming and&nbsp;by purchasing items such as an outdoor&nbsp;picnic area, comfortable interior seating,&nbsp;wood shelving, a diaper changing station in the ladies' restroom, and more. </p> <p>For the last&nbsp;5 years the Friends&nbsp;have spearheaded a community effort to support a local needy family during the winter holiday season. </p> <p>New members are always welcome and persons willing to assume leadership roles are especially needed.
