Join our Library Friends Group
The Friends support the library through fundraising events and outreach services to the larger community. In 2007, the Friends held 2 book sales and supported the library by funding adult programming. They also purchased the picnic table outside and have helped purchase comfortable seating in the library, new shelving, a diaper changing station in the ladies’ restroom, and more.
For the last 4 years the Friends have spearheaded a community effort to support a local needy family during the winter holiday season.
New members are always welcome and persons willing to assume leadership roles are especially needed. Information is available at the library.
Quarterly meetings for 2008 are from 7-8 pm on the first Thursdays of March, June, September, and December (March 6th, June 5th, September 4th, and December 4th).
The next Friends book sale is scheduled for autumn 2008.
