KDLville Ribbon-Cutting Party Success!

A number of local Kent City parents and children joined us at KDL’s Tyrone Township branch on Saturday, May 19, for the opening of our new KDLville early literacy learning space. Guests were given the opportunity to get hands-on with new library activities and stations designed to enhance early literacy skills and foster a love of reading and learning. Attendees enjoyed a number of fun event activities including face painting, balloon animals, crafts and more. A special KDLville cake was also on hand as well as a supply of delicious juice generously donated by Old Orchard of Sparta, MI.

We would like to thank all of the volunteers and staff members that helped to make this event such a success! Also, a special thanks to the KDL Fund for providing the resources to help make our KDLville initiative a success at all our KDL branch locations. We hope to see you soon!
