Wyoming Book Discussion


We have a friendly, informal discussion on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Conference Room.   The discussion in March, April and May are a part of this year’s Wyoming Community Reads project.  Dead End in Norvelt by Jack Gantos will be discussed March 19th.  Tom Rademacher’s     Knocking at Your Door is the selected title for April 16th followed on May 21st with In the Neighborhood: The Search for Community on an American Street, One Sleepover at a Time by Peter Lovenheim.


As a part of the Wyoming Community Reads program two interactive “Reader’s Maps” – one for Dead End in Norvelt and one for In the Neighborhood— have been developed.  These are websites that have more information about the settings, characters, background information, etc. for each of the two books.  If you want to look at them, here are the links:
