June 12, 1:00, Under the Radar: Dystopian Survival Can you handle the dystopian worlds of popular teen novels? Try your hand at bow and arrow target practice, see if you can blend in with a pack of zombies, hoard items you need to survive and more!


June 15, 1:00, Game On! Join the West Michigan Tabletop Gamers the third Saturday of each month to play some fun-filled board games. Assorted "gateway" games will be on hand, along with someone to teach them.


June 19, 1:00, Uncover Your Hidden Artist Caricature artist Corey Ruffin unveils the talent hidden in all of us. Are stick figures the full extent of your artistic ability? In a few simple steps, Corey shows you the art of cartooning the human face and will have you drawing like a pro.


June 26, 1:00, Great Quesadilla Taste-Off Create interesting food "below the surface." Make the greatest quesadillas ever with your own creative combination of ingredients! Hang out with your friends and enjoy your original delicacies.


July 10, 1:00, Underground Music Come check out what’s going on in the underground music scene, which is the great stuff you won’t normally find through more traditional sources. Hear great live local music, get a chance to talk with musicians and musical experts about underground music, check out some great sources of other local and national underground music information (magazines, CDs, DVDs, etc.) and much more!


July 17, 1:00, Beneath the Electronic Surface Like to tinker? Are you curious about how things work beneath the surface? Old telephones, keyboards and other gadgets will be provided for teens to take apart and explore. Spark your interest for what’s beneath the surface!


July 24, 4:00, Photography:  Digging beneath the Surface Discover your inner photographer! Learn the basics of framing and composition. Bring your own camera and capture images that symbolize your own unique perspective.


July 31, 1:00, Marble Magnets: Beneath the Surface Create a set of magnets for yourself or a friend. What lies beneath the surface is for you to decide—they’re easy and fun to make!
