Chess Anyone? Wednesdays, September 12 – November 28, 3:00 pm (no program October 31)

Drop in and play chess at the library! All skill levels welcome. An adult will be available to help you with your game or match you up with a worthy opponent.

Harvest Party: Monday, October 29, 6:30 pm

Celebrate the season with autumn crafts, pumpkin decorating, games and bountiful fun! Please bring your own pumpkin to decorate. For all ages. Arts and Crafts.

Grossology Workshop: Saturday, November 3, 2:00 pm

Face it: if it’s on the gross side, kids tend to love it. But there’s a lot to learn from stuff that’s snotty, stinky, oozy and mushy. This program harnesses kids’ natural curiosity—and it’s so much fun they won’t realize they’re learning science! For ages 6 and older.

Creating a Stockpile & Bulk Cooking Tips: Thursday, November 8, 6:30 pm

Sarah Jehnzen, from Sarah’s Deals and the WOTV 4 Women crew, will share ideas for creating a stockpile while trimming your grocery budget, as well as for cooking foods in bulk to take advantage of quantity pricing. For adults.

Curiosity Day with Curious George: Monday, November 26, 6:30 pm

Are you curious about animals, drawing, cooking or stories? Math, science, art or engineering? Join your host, the Man with the Yellow Hat, as he guides you through games and activities to pique your curiosity. For ages 6 and younger.
