Brittney Holmes’ debut title LIVING CONSEQUENCES covers the lives of several teenagers and the situations they find themselves trying to navigate. Neveah Madison is an honor student focused on doing well in school, but she is also committed to remain a virgin until marriage. She has the normal ups and downs of a teenager, but she is covered by her faith in God and upbringing. Even though her boyfriend has promised to also remain a virgin, he begins to pressure her to take their relationship further and they must both deal with the repercussions.

THE EDIFICATION OF SONYA CRANE by J D Guilford is Sonya’s story, a tale of racial identity and secrets. Prior to attending PDL, Sonya rides the train from her therapist in Atlanta’s East side back to Buckhead. There she eyes a group of girls whom she wishes to emulate. Once attending school, these same girls are in some of the same classes with Sonya and she seeks their friendship. Sonya adopts their mannerism, dress and attitude all in an effort to fit in. On the flip side, Tandy, the leader of this clique, appears to be street smart but hides her soaring grades and her status as the daughter of a renowned artist. When Tandy discovers Sonya’s true identity, Sonya uses her knowledge of Tandys’ identity to her benefit.
