First Steps – A group of community leaders who have come together to work toward a common goal of giving every child the opportunity to grow and reach their full potential.

Great Start Collaborative – A group of local professionals and parents who are working with First Steps and others in the community to help ensure all children have a GREAT START in life.

Great Start ConnectGreat Start Connect – The one-stop website for childcare providers seeking training opportunities and parents looking for childcare in Kent County.

Great Start Parent Coalition – A group of dedicated parents who partner with KDL on Diaper Drives and parent education and also do advocacy work on behalf of all young children in Kent County.

Great Start to Quality Kent Resource Center – Offers providers and educators coaching and consultation for developing quality improvement plans, information about professional development and training opportunities, and a lending library of books and other learning materials.

Kent Intermediate School District (Kent ISD) – Provides services to twenty local public school districts and to all non-public schools within its boundaries. Kent ISD provides a wide range of services to meet the needs of the educators, families and communities we serve.

Kent Regional 4C – A great community resource for childcare training, parent education, finding childcare and much more.

Literacy Center of West Michigan – A local organization committed to helping West Michigan residents reach their literacy potential, opening the door to a lifetime of opportunity.
