Attention aspiring poets: KDL is hosting its 10th annual teen poetry contest!
Winners will receive a $50 gift card from Schuler Books & Music
and winning entries will be published right here on the KDL teen page.

Contest Guidelines:

• Contest is open to Kent County residents in grades 6-12.
• Poems must be submitted between April 1 and April 30, 2013 at any KDL branch or using the form below.
• A maximum of 3 poems can be submitted.
• All poems must be your own original work.
• Submissions become the property of Kent District Library and will not be returned. Please be sure to make a copy for yourself.
• Winning entries will appear on the KDL website's teen page. KDL reserves the right to correct minor spelling and grammatical errors.
• 10 winners system-wide will receive a $50.00 gift card from Schuler Books & Music. Winners will be announced by May 15.
• Staff and immediate family are not eligible to enter this contest.
