Item returns and pick-ups suspended; online resources available

In order to do our part to prevent and/or slow the spread of coronavirus, KDL has made the difficult decision to suspend the lending of library materials until further notice. Patrons will not be able to return or pick up any library materials, including via curbside or after-hours pick up.

Pick-up deadlines on any holds currently on the hold shelf have been extended through May 15. This date may change as we become aware of further developments.

Though our branches are currently closed, KDL's digital library is available 24/7 from the comfort of your home or wherever you are. With your KDL library card, you can access:

  • eBooks
  • Audiobooks
  • TV
  • Movies
  • Music
  • Magazines and Newspapers

This is also a great time to:

  • Check out online resources such as language courses, databases and more.
  • Sign up for Let It Snow Reading Club or Mission: Read through the Beanstack mobile app (search in your app store for “Beanstack”).

Many programs are becoming available online as livestreamed events. Check them out at kdl.org/events/.

Please hang tight, as we are, following guidance from the experts. For updates you can trust, visit kdl.org/coronavirus.
