KDL Welcomes New Board Member

Nicole Lintemuth has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Kent District Library by the Kent County Board of Commissioners. She represents Region 4, which includes the City of Lowell, Bowne Twp., Lowell Twp., and Vergennes Twp.

Lintmuth is the owner of Bettie’s Pages, opens a new window, a book store in downtown Lowell. She replaces Caitie Searfoss Oliver, who completed her term at the end of December.

"I'm really excited to be joining the Board and representing the interests of Lowell in this organization," said Lintemuth. "I've long been a fan of KDL and getting to help lift up our strong library system is an honor." 

The eight members of the KDL Board of Trustees represent 27 communities throughout Kent County. Major duties include establishing and maintaining a public library for Kent District Library, establishing library policies, employing the Library Director, adopting an annual budget, and approving the expenditure of funds. Board meetings are typically held the third Thursday of every month; times and locations are posted at www.kdl.org, opens a new window.
