Sherrie Barber Willson, of Wyoming, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Kent District Library by the Kent County Board of Commissioners.
Willson, who is the Digital Marketing Manager for the Coalesse brand, will represent the City of Wyoming. Her term runs through 2019.
“I think a strong library system is a key component of any healthy community, and KDL does a wonderful job of serving Kent County,” said Willson. “I look forward to helping to guide KDL as it seeks to continue serving its patrons in the most effective way.”
The eight members of the KDL Board of Trustees represent 27 communities throughout Kent County. Board meetings are typically held the third Thursday of every month.
Kent District Library is a public library system operating 18 branch libraries. KDL serves nearly 400,000 residents of 27 governmental units, comprising most of Kent County, Michigan.
