Lance Werner, director of Kent District Library, has successfully completed the Michigan Political Leadership Program (MPLP). Werner is one of 24 individuals who participated in a 10-month program that’s focused on public policy and leadership.

Most readers know what it's like to get so engrossed in a book, that they feel like they really know the characters. They may love them, hate them or want to be like them. Our staff members love to read and have "met" countless book characters over the years.
