Join the Winter Reading Challenge

Snuggle up with a good book this winter! Adults and teens (age 11+) who read or listen to any six books earn a Let It Snow mug. Want more? Log four more titles and be automatically entered into our Power Reader drawing for a chance to win a gift card to a local indie bookstore.

1) Get started December 1. Here are three simple ways to choose from:

  • Use your phone or computer with the Beanstack app or website (links are above).
  • Pickup a brochure and tracking form from any KDL branch.
  • Download and print the tracking form (PDF).

2) Read or listen to books

  • Complete any six books between December 1, 2025 and February 27, 2026 to earn a mug.
  • Read four more (for a total of ten) by February 27, 2026 to be entered into the Power reader drawing for a chance to win a gift card to a local indie bookstore.

3) Notify us of your completion

  • Turn in your tracking sheet at any KDL branch or on Beanstack by February 27.

4) Pickup your Let It Snow mug

  • Mugs will be available at branches starting January 2.
