The Kent District Library circulates a wide variety of materials, from books and movies to popular music CDs and video games — with no rental fees! Read below for additional information regarding our policies.
There are numerous free options available for taxpayers to obtain tax products, tax preparation and assistance in filing their tax returns:
BookMyne is your one-stop spot for all your library needs! Search for your next favorite, renew items, put materials on hold, check your fines, manage your account and view booklists for suggestions — all with one free app.
The KDL Seed Library offers a variety of flower, fruit, vegetable and herb seeds for anyone to borrow! They are free, and available at every KDL branch from March through September (while supplies last).
Kits are unable to be reserved at this time. Existing reservations may also be affected due to our temporary closure. We plan to resume the Book Club in a Bag service when KDL reopens to the public.
Kent District Library offers several Free Libraries throughout our service area. These mini-libraries typically house around 40 books each, including youth, teen and adult fiction and nonfiction materials. People are encouraged to take a book and leave a book.
Interested in partnering with KDL and having us come to your event? We can offer activities for all ages, our Katie L. elephant mascot, library card sign-ups and more.
KDL offers FaxScan24 self-service faxing kiosks to provide a convenient service for users who need to send faxes.
Only credit and debit cards are accepted. The kiosks do not receive incoming faxes.
Kent District Library is proud to support MagnusCards, a free app created specifically for those living with autism and other cognitive special needs. MagnusCards combines structured, step-by-step guidance with game design to help teach a variety of life skills through free, downloadable cards decks.
